## Background

Matt Senter founded Senternet in 2000, one of the first Java web hosting companies, and sold it in 2002. He went on to co-found or found Kungfuters (indie web studio, 2006), SeedMatrix (early-stage tooling, 2008, acquired by Context Network), Phream (mobile social, 2011), Cosmic (commerce gateway, 2012, acquired by POPSUGAR and later Rakuten), and Lolli (bitcoin shopping rewards, 2018, where he built engineering from zero through Series A).
